not my Mothertongue

Nico Muhly is a contemporary Western classical music composer born 1981 in Vermont, currently living in the Chinatown section of Manhattan in New York City. A graduate of Columbia University and The Juilliard School with an undergraduate degree in English and a Masters in Music, respectively, Muhly studied under the direction of John Corigliano and Christopher Rouse. He has also worked alongside Björk in collaboration on the DVD single Oceania in 2004, and worked with Philip Glass as an editor, conductor, and keyboardist.

In 2006 he released his first album of works, titled Speaks Volumes. In 2008 he released his second album, titled Mothertongue. [Wiki]
